When we speak of quality of life issues, it is more than just garbage and streets; it is affordable housing, good schools, great cultural events and a well run government that is responsive to its citizens. I am looking forward to continuing to represent constituents, not just from the first district, but for all of the City of Elmira and to carry on my commitment of community service to the Queen City and her residents by restoring service levels, reexamining code ordinances and enforcement and creating community pride that will support home ownership and families while increasing employment opportunities for our young.

My knowledge and experience of years of service to the community with the Elmira City School District will help us find that path and help pave the way for new beginnings between all stakeholders so we may achieve together the common goals we all seek. We recognize that we cannot be a strong community with status quo, we must work together to improve the business climate and quality of life.
