Every year, EDD, City government, residents, and organizations partner to kick off the spring season by cleaning and beautifying Elmira’s downtown neighborhoods through Elmira Downtown Cleanup. Activities include:
- Picking up trash
• Sweeping sidewalks
• Racking up leaves and debris
• Painting garbage cans
